Session Seven/July 23-27 Selma
Blackburn All Levels Artists of varied experience levels in water media can enjoy their fun adventure in this class that opens the doors to techniques, approaches, ideas, and skills. The exciting environment will provide the means for the student to explore color, composition, materials, and especially, their own creativity. Selma earned a degree in Art with distinction in 1990 from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. While concentrating on studio painting in watercolor and acrylics, Selma rounded out her art experience with studies in drawing, art history, esthetics, printmaking, sculpture, and ceramics. She currently teaches classes and workshops in watercolor and design at the Arkansas Arts Center and around the state and country. She also has been an adjunct instructor of art at Hendrix College.
