Metalsmithing/Jewelry I

Basic tools and techniques will introduce students to jewelry making. Learn to saw, file, solder and bezel set stones. Discuss finish and polishing styles. Explore rivets and cold connections and possible design techniques, incorporating these elements into the artwork. Open to beginners and intermediate students. Tools and materials may be purchased in class.
