Classes - Two-DimensionalFall Session/October 8-10Figure DrawingGary Simmons All Levels Studio 3 Day class (9am-4pm) Tuition: $165 Model fee: $35 This three-day workshop will explore basic life drawing with an emphasis on accurate rendering of the nude figure. The class will focus particularly on the figure's gestures and proportions. Students will explore and practice figure drawing using pencil, charcoal, pastels, and a keen eye! Gary Simmons (Hot Springs, Arkansas) has been drawing the live model since 1972 and continues to practice this art form weekly through his teaching at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Gary is particularly fond of working in charcoal and pastels. |
