Classes - Fiber ArtSession One/May 31 - June 4Complex ClothSuzanne Tourtelot All Levels Studio 5 Day class (9am-4pm) Tuition: $275 Materials: $35-$50 Students will learn different techniques for creating complex fabrics with gutta and wax resists, Paintsticks ® Seta colors®, foiling, stamping, and stenciling. Finished cloth is suitable for multiple uses such as fabric art, art quilts, and wearable art. Participants in this workshop are encouraged to let their creativity flow and have fun in this workshop-no one can fail with these simple techniques. Suzanne Sanders (Holiday Island, Arkansas) is an artist whose art has brought her international recognition. Her art begins by hand-dyeing and painting her own fabrics. Teaching for over thirty years, she travels extensively sharing her knowledge and skills. |
