Classes - Two DimensionalSession Two/June 7-11Plein Aire PaintingDavid Tripp All Levels Field 5 Day class (9am-4pm) Tuition: $275 Materials: $50 For a week we will paint the Ozark mountain town en plein aire , and explore manifold techniques of rendering sunlight and shadow, using pure vibrant color. Participants will experiment with techniques that include wash, pouring, dry brush, spattering, and masking. Our focus will be on watercolor sketches as well as finished paintings. David Tripp (Arlington, Texas) has spent the past two decades watercoloring American towns and countryside settings throughout the Midwest and Southwest. He participates in art festivals and gallery shows, and is passionate about teaching watercolor. |
