ESSA is offering a week-long blown glass workshop! Instructor, Ed Pennebaker, has agreed to teach this class at his Glass Studio in Osage, Arkansas (only 30 miles from Eureka Springs). Come and learn the fundamentals of working with hot glass at the furnace! The class will start with solid forms and work to blown forms, adding color and texture. Students will also mix and melt glass batch and discuss glass formulas.

Glass by Ed has been shown at Sofa Chicago, Philadelphia Furniture and Furnishings Show, Hsinchu International Glass Art Festival, Arkansas Studies Institute, and other venues. Ed began working with glass in 1981 and founded his own studio in 1985. He has worked fulltime with glass for the past twenty-five years.
