5 Day class (9am-4pm)

Tuition: $275

Materials: $66 plus the cost of stones

Building custom bezels for creatively cut cabochons is a true balancing act. Problem solving skills are not only helpful, but in some cases necessary. Free-form cabochons are the most challenging and the most rewarding to set. Students may choose to let the stone do the talking with simple and clean lines, while others may create the perfect frame to accent the natural beauty of the stone and its one-of-a-kind cut. The focus of this workshop will be on pendants, but earring pairs will not be off limits.

Growing up in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Lyla Allison has always had an appreciation for art in many forms and a deep desire to create. While still in high school, Lyla started making jewelry and writing poetry before moving on to stained glass, photography, and even welding. Lyla loves the challenge of new and different mediums.
