Classes - MetalSession Four/June 21-25Methods of Metal WorkWayne Summerhill All levels Studio 5 Day class (9am-4pm) Tuition: $275 Materials: $50-$75 depending on amount of materials used This workshop will involve basic to advanced methods on: tool safety, metal cutting techniques, material preparation, texturing techniques, methods of forming metal, fabrication and welding techniques, and patina and finishes. Wayne Summerhill (Hot Springs, Arkansas) has been a self-taught sculptor since 1970. His accomplishments include works at the Hot Springs Civic and Convention Center, Hard Rock Café, Miami, Florida, Hot Springs Sculpture Garden, and several hospitals, churches, libraries, banks, and private homes. He has also been featured in Southern Artist and Active Years magazines. |
