Classes - Two-DimensionalSession Five/June 28 - July 2Painting with Oil Glazes and TexturingCarol Peacock All levels Studio 5 Day class (9am-4pm) Tuition: $275 Materials/Model: $75 In this workshop Carol will demonstrate her inimitable style of texturing canvas prior to underpainting, then layering with four to twelve glazes. The technique of underpainting with metallics will be shown to produce a different spectrum of light and shadow. Models will be used to capture gesture and form. Lastly, figures will be abstracted. Carol Peacock, (Eureka Springs, Arkansas), has been painting for forty years. She was recently chosen to participate in a public art display for one year at the Administration Building of the Board of Education in Algonquin, Illinois, outside of Chicago. She has numerous gallery shows locally and nationally, and is presently appearing in Woodstock, Illinois and Park City, Utah. |
