5 Day class (9am-4pm)

Tuition: $275

Materials: $50

Learn to create beautiful heirloom quality Fretwork and Intarsia pieces that showcase the natural beauty of wood. We will discuss wood selection, preparation, tools, and suppliers. The student will learn cutting, shaping, sanding, as well as, proper finishing techniques.

T. J. Brown (Fort Smith, Arkansas) has twenty-three years of experience doing Fretwork with the scroll saw. He learned Intarsia from Judy Gail Roberts, a well-known Intarsia artist who in 1997 was one of the first ten woodworkers to be inducted in the “Woodworking Hall of Fame”.
