Photo Art: Artistic Possibilities with Photography

This class will experiment with the creative aspects of photography. Students will not only learn to be more creative in their basic approach to taking photographic images, but will also learn how to be creative with different materials that can be applied to and with photographs to alter and manipulate the image. The students will be using photographs as a tool along with other materials to help create artistic and meaningful images and projects.

Lori is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University. Her interest in photography began while working as a part time photographer for student publications at SMSU. She has pursued many areas of art and photography over the years, including teaching art in the public school system and commercial and residential mural work. Photography is now her primary concentration.
