Session Six/July 16-20 Mary
Ann Stafford All Levels This class will involve painting in soft pastel on a variety of surfaces and incorporating several different techniques such as blocking in, linear approach, under painting, painting over watercolor, or acrylic (landscape and still life subjects). Accurate drawing techniques will be emphasized. Mary Ann has an Ed.D. degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in art education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. For the past thirteen years Mary Ann has been a self-employed artist and instructor, teaching painting and drawing. She is a member of the Pastel Society of the Southwest, Mid-Southern Watercolorists, Arkansas League of Artists, Founder of the Artists of Maumelle, and a charter member of the Arkansas Pastel Society.
